We're excited to announce U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm will provide an in-person keynote address at this year's National Cleanup Workshop, set to be held September 11-13, 2023 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott - Arlington, VA.

federal representatives, industry officials and state and local leaders speaking at this year's Workshop, one of the largest events in the country dealing with the Department of Energy's Office of Environmental Management (EM). Other speakers include:

This year's Workshop also includes a new emphasis
on early career professionals in the EM industry, with programming to learn more about EM and how to grow and succeed in the DOE cleanup program. These sessions will include:
Leadership development principles
Case studies from federal and contractor representatives on building a career in the EM program
An in-depth "EM 101" on the background and history of the DOE cleanup program
The NCW brings together more than 700 senior DOE executives, officials from DOE sites, industry leaders, local elected officials, and other stakeholders to discuss the progress the DOE Office of
Environmental Management (EM) is making to address the environmental legacy of the Manhattan Project and Cold War-era U.S. nuclear weapons program.
NCW 2023 is hosted by the Energy Communities Alliance (ECA) with the cooperation of the Energy Facility Contractors Group (EFCOG) and the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Environmental Management (EM).
