House Armed Services Committee releases Chairman's Mark of the FY13 National Defense Authorization Act

FY13 NDAA (H.R. 4310) Chairman's Mark
Draft funding authorization details are now available for the Fiscal Year 2013 (FY13) National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which includes DOE national security programs.
The new Chairman's Mark contains detailed funding authorization tables, which were not available in the initial marks.
ECA will review the Chairman's Mark and provide additional updates on its content.
The Senate Armed Services Committee is scheduled to mark up its version of the measure the week of May 22.
Authorizations and Appropriations in Brief
Authorizations set a cap on funding that may be appropriated; appropriations set the specific amount that may be obligated.
