ECA New Leadership Peer Exchange (April 11-12, 2013; Washington, D.C.)

Registration is now open for the "New Leadership Peer Exchange" in Washington, DC. The meeting will be held on April 11-12, 2013 at the Washington Marriott (1221 22nd Street NW · Washington, DC 20037).
Meeting Information
At the meeting, participants will discuss the future of DOE and its new leadership. Top DOE officials from Environmental Management (EM), Nuclear Energy (NE), and National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) will address the group. Other invited speakers include Congressional Members, Hill staff members and Washington insiders. ECA will send out an agenda and more information soon.

Registration Information
The hotel reservation and meeting registration deadline is Tuesday, March 19, 2013 and the registration fees are:
  • $230 for Government, Public Sector and ECA Member participants
  • $495 for private sector participants

ECA is using a new registration system for this Peer Exchange. Please register register for the Peer Exchange here.

Registration fees are covered in the cost of the ticket.  Please make sure to buy the correct ticket ("Government/Public Sector/ECA Member" or "Private Sector").  You can buy the ticket using your credit card.  If you would like to pay by check, please register using the "Pay by check to ECA at rates above" ticket (no charge) and mail a check to ECA prior to the meeting. 
ECA Member Reimbursement Information

ECA will pay for the travel and hotel costs only (for hotel reservations made in the ECA room block at the Washington Marriott) for two people per ECA local government member community and one person per affiliate member (please note that ECA will not reimburse for per diem expenses for this peer exchange). All reimbursement claims must adhere to GSA regulations. In addition, ECA may be able to assist other local government officials interested in attending the meeting on a case by case basis. Although ECA will only reimburse two individuals from each member community, each community is free to send as many delegates as they want to the meeting. ECA is not able to reimburse you for the registration fee for the meeting.

If you are requesting reimbursement, please send the names and titles of the individuals from your community that will be attending to allison@energyca.org.

All flights over $650.00 must be approved in advance by ECA Staff. ECA is not able to reimburse you for rental cars for this meeting.
