White House Releases FY19 Budget Request
ECA Staff | February 12, 2018

Today the White House released the President's Budget for FY 2019. The budget was accompanied by an addendum proposing additional spending levels for federal agencies in light of the recent two-year budget deal passed by Congress.

The Department of Energy (DOE) budget (beginning on page 45 of the document) requests $29 billion for the department, a 3% decrease from 2017 enacted levels, but an increase of $1 billion above the President's 2018 request. The addendum proposes an additional $1.5 billion in funds for DOE (see page 4).
