DOE publishes fact sheet with top line FY2020 budget figures for DOE programs

Today, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) published a fact sheet for the Administration's fiscal year (FY) 2020 budget request. The fact sheet provides an overview of funding priorities
and top line budget figures for DOE's various national security, science, and applied science programs.
Budget request highlights include:
- $16.5 billion for the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA);
- $824 million for the Office of Nuclear Energy (NE);
- $116 million for Yucca Mountain and Interim Storage Program (YMISP);
- $5.5 billion for the Office of Science;
- $6.5 billion for the Office of Environmental Management (EM);
- $303 million for the Office of Legacy Management (LM).
A department-wide justification for DOE's complete FY2020 budget request is expected to be published in the coming days.
