ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
Informational Webinar of DWPF Recycle Wastewater
DOE | 8/28/20
DOE’s Office of Environmental Management has announced it will host an Informational Webinar of DWPF Recycle Wastewater following the release earlier this month of two National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documents – the Finding of No
Significant Impact (FONSI) and Final Environmental Assessment - that show Defense Waste Processing Facility (DWPF) recycle wastewater from the Savannah River Site (SRS) can be safely disposed of as low-level radioactive waste (LLW) at a commercial facility outside of the state of South Carolina.
