Today: Informational Webinar of DWPF Recycle Wastewater

DOE’s Office of Environmental Management has announced it will host an Informational Webinar of DWPF Recycle Wastewater following the release in August of two National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documents – the Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) and Final Environmental Assessment - that show Defense Waste Processing Facility (DWPF) recycle wastewater from the Savannah River Site (SRS) can be safely disposed of as low-level radioactive waste (LLW) at a commercial facility outside of the state of South Carolina.
